Skateboarder and long time friend of all of us here at The Pawnshop,

Charles “Chuck” Reed had recently got sick from cancer and has now passed away. Charles was one of the nicest dudes around, always a smile, always cracking a joke, very outgoing he would stop by to check in on his friends that worked at the local skate shop from time to time.

I ran into him a few months after he had finished chemotherapy for his cancer the first time around, I happened to have my 35mm camera on me and asked him to come outside so I could shoot this portrait of him.

We’re going to deeply miss you homeboy.
